Consider and End of Year Gift Today

Thank you for your support of the Center for Autism. We are immeasurably grateful for your generosity, which has helped us serve more than 1,500 people each year with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Philadelphia.
Perhaps you have a personal connection to autism; maybe it has affected your loved ones. You may know someone like Luis, who was nonverbal, but after attending treatment, can now independently communicate his wants and needs. More families find themselves navigating an autism diagnosis, in part because we are getting better at understanding the disorder, and also because of the truly life-changing benefits of treatment.
It is for this reason that we come to you to ask for your support. Through the years, the Center has expanded to meet the needs of the community. While more families are seeking autism services in our area, the Center experienced a significant decrease in our Medicaid funding in September. The rate for our largest treatment program, which serves over 200 children ages 2 to 6 years old, was cut by 45%.
In response to these substantial budget cuts, the Center has been revamping programs to ensure the quality of care is uninterrupted for our families and children. Additionally, the Center’s affiliate organization in Blue Bell, the Ruttenberg Autism Center, is offering a range of services, groups, and supports to families throughout the Delaware Valley.
With these changes in mind, we ask you to consider making a contribution to the Center. Your donation can make a difference in the lives of children and families, and help us to continue improving the quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
