PROFESSIONAL CONSULTATION
"You have helped Abington over the years and our Autistic Support Program, as it has grown and become more sophisticated. Its development is a tribute to the guidance that you provided to the staff in helping them to become better educators and clinicians in working with individuals along the spectrum."
- Richard Balukas, Ed.D., Director of Special Education, Abington School District
The Center provides consultation services to area educators, mental health providers and early education interventionists to help better serve individuals with autism.
Consultation services include workshops and seminars on assessment and intervention techniques, staff training, behavioral observation, and the development of individualized education, treatment program or life-plan. We are also available to participate in problem-solving activities, in order to develop the plan for adaptations to the physical environment and program design. All consultation services are specialized to meet varying needs.
For more information on consultation services, please contact Jean Ruttenberg, Executive Director, at 215-220-2105.
